What your Google Business Profile does, every day.

Connect your Google Business Profile and see how people find you on Maps and Search: impressions, calls, direction requests and website clicks by day, the search terms that surfaced your profile each month, and your reviews read straight from Google. Synced daily.

Included with Pro, along with every tool that ships after it.

Google keeps the numbers. Reading them takes a visit.

Google already counts how often your listing shows and what people do next. Reading it means opening each location's profile, picking a date range and remembering what last month looked like. A quiet month goes unnoticed until the phone has been quiet for two.

What Profile Performance shows

How people find you

How often your listing appeared on Google Maps and in Google Search, by day, with the last 30 and 90 days each set against the same span just before.

What they did

Calls, website clicks and direction requests, by day. Bookings made through Google and menu clicks show up when your listing has some.

What they searched

The words people typed before your listing showed up, for the last complete month. Where Google reports a small number as "under" a threshold, it's shown that way and never added up.

Your profile as Google has it

The name, categories, description, phone, website, address, service area, hours and services Google shows, with the day a change to one of them was noticed.

Your rating and review count

As Google reports them, with a link to the Review Inbox to read the reviews themselves and draft replies.

Read only

Nothing here changes your listing. Google's permission screen calls the access "manage" because Google offers nothing narrower; the tool only reads.

How it runs

It works per location, and Pro includes two locations per site. Add them on the site's Locations tab, connect the Google account that manages the business, and link each location to its listing. From then on it reads your profile once a day, with nothing to press. A day Google reports no activity counts as zero; a day it can't vouch for shows as "Not read", and no comparison is made across it.

Who doesn't need it

If you run one location and open Google's own Performance page in your Business Profile every month, you already have these numbers, free. Our guide to Google Business Profile optimization covers what to do with them. Profile Performance earns its place when you run two locations, want the numbers kept without the monthly visit, or want them beside your reviews and your website audit.

Reading, answering and fixing

Profile Performance reads what your profile does. The Review Inbox reads your reviews and drafts the replies, and the Google Business Profile Grader scores every gap in the profile and writes the fix. All three are included with Pro.

Questions about Profile Performance

Which plan includes Profile Performance?
Pro, at $99/month, which includes all twenty-three tools and every tool that ships later. On Starter the tools are visible but locked.
Does it change anything on my Google Business Profile?
No. It reads your profile, its numbers and its reviews, and never writes to your listing. To change anything, edit the listing in your Google Business Profile.
Why don't the numbers run through today?
Google holds back the last few days until they're final, so the numbers run through the newest day Google has reported. The page shows that date and when it last read from Google.
What happens if the connection lapses?
The numbers already read stay on the page, and it tells you how to reconnect. When you reconnect, the next sync reads the days it missed, up to thirteen months back.
