After your account migrates, logging into the Local Services Ads dashboard sends you to your campaign overview in Google Ads, and the old dashboard is no longer accessible.
Facts on this page were checked against Google's pages on 2026-09-30. Google's own wording is quoted where it matters.
Google's Help article says it plainly: "Attempting to log into your dashboard on or after your migration day will automatically redirect you to your campaign overview in Google Ads." If that's what you're seeing, your account has moved. Nothing is broken and nothing has been deleted from your leads.
Where did everything go?
Google names three places to look in Google Ads:
| You want | Go to |
|---|---|
| Your leads | Goals, then Conversions, then Leads |
| Budget, bidding target, service areas, ad schedule, categories, pause or resume | Campaigns, then Settings, then select your campaign with pay-per-lead goals |
| Photos and callouts | Assets |
The Leads table replaces your old lead inbox. Google says it has the same features you're used to, including charged status, lead type (call, message and so on), a lead feedback form and the ability to download your leads for your own CRM. If message goals are active, you open a lead to read and reply to texts or emails from inside Google Ads.
In the campaign table, Google says to watch three columns. "Conversions" is the number of leads you're charged for. "Cost" is your total ad spend. "Cost / conv." is your average cost per lead.
To pause your ads, toggle the campaign status to Paused on the Settings tab. Toggle it back to Enabled to resume.
What didn't come with you?
Your performance reports. Google's wording: "Your previous campaign-level performance metrics (such as past impressions, clicks, weekly spend, and ad-level performance reports) will not migrate to Google Ads."
What did come: your past customer lead history, including contact details, message history and older call recordings, plus your Google Verified badge if you'd completed verification. Google also says your locations, service types, categories, budget limits, ad schedule and business photos transfer automatically.
Google says a dedicated download page for historical reports "will be available soon" on the redirection page. As of 2026-09-30 we haven't seen it described as live. If you haven't migrated yet, save your reports first.
How do you tell whether a login problem is the migration?
A redirect to Google Ads means migration. A different problem, such as an error, a blank page or a password prompt that fails, is something else, and we can't diagnose it from here. Google lists a dedicated support line for migrating advertisers: +1-844-205-0011, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. We cover it on its own page.
If you can't find your campaign at all once you're in Google Ads, we've seen advertisers describe that on r/LocalServicesAds, with no cause given. Google's documentation doesn't address it. Start with the Campaigns page and the Goals menu above, and call the support line if neither shows your campaign.
What if you haven't migrated yet?
You can still log in, and you should use the time. Google says the account administrator gets an email 14 days before your date, a reminder 7 days later, and a banner in the dashboard. Check that the administrator's address is one somebody reads. Then read what changes at migration.
Who can ignore this?
Anyone who found the new Google Ads view without trouble and has already set up the checks in our first-login checklist. If you run a home services business and want the wider local picture, our page on home services SEO covers what we do there.
