Best GEO Agencies in 2026: A Fair Shortlist

By Nate Morris · 5 min read

TL;DR

The best GEO agencies we can verify in 2026: iPullRank for enterprise AI search, Omniscient Digital for B2B SaaS, Kalicube for entity and brand work, WebFX for full-service scale, Profound if you want a platform instead of an agency, and Narsil Creative for transparent mid-market GEO. Yes, we're on our own list. So is every agency that writes one; we're just saying so.

Best GEO agencies lists share a secret: almost every one is written by an agency, and that agency always ranks itself. This list is no different, except we're telling you up front. Below are six organizations doing real generative engine optimization work in 2026, all verified as currently operating, each described only from what their own sites and independent industry roundups say. Where we don't know something, we say "not published" instead of guessing.

New to the acronym? Start with what GEO is and come back. Otherwise, the shortlist.

Who made the shortlist?

Six entries: five external, one us. We only included organizations we could verify through current search results, and we only claim what those sources support. No invented client names, no guessed founding stories, no pricing we couldn't confirm.

iPullRank

An enterprise SEO, content strategy, and AI search agency led by Mike King, one of the most technically respected people in search. Their GEO work runs under a named framework, Relevance Engineering, which combines embeddings, information retrieval, content strategy, and UX to build visibility across ChatGPT, AI Overviews, and AI Mode. Industry roundups consistently describe them as one of the few agencies deeply studying how LLMs interpret brand content, not just reacting to it. Pricing: not published. Best fit, based on their positioning: enterprise teams that want mechanism-level depth and can resource a serious engagement.

Omniscient Digital

A B2B organic growth agency founded in 2019 and based in Austin, focused almost exclusively on B2B software and SaaS. They treat SEO, GEO, and content as one revenue channel rather than separate services, with a leadership team drawn from in-house roles at companies like HubSpot and Shopify. Their methodology runs under a named research framework, OmniscientX. Pricing: not published on their site as far as we found, though third-party vendor listings report engagements starting around $10,000 per month. Best fit: funded B2B SaaS companies with clear positioning and budget to match.

Kalicube

The entity specialists. Founded by Jason Barnard, who's been working on brand SERPs and Knowledge Panels since 2015 and is credited with coining "Answer Engine Optimization" back in 2018. Kalicube's whole thesis is that AI recommends brands it understands and trusts as entities, so the work centers on making search engines and AI platforms confident about who you are and why you're credible, supported by their Kalicube Pro dataset and a named process. Pricing: not published. Best fit: brands and founders whose core problem is what AI currently believes about them.

WebFX

The scale option. WebFX is a large full-service digital marketing agency that industry roundups credit with enterprise-grade GEO delivered through its OmniSEO platform. They also publish some of the most-cited pricing research in the niche, including the GEO cost benchmarks referenced across this industry. Package pricing for their own GEO services wasn't confirmed in our research. Best fit: teams that want GEO as one line item inside a broad full-service engagement with a big agency's infrastructure behind it.

Profound

Not an agency, and worth including anyway because plenty of readers comparing agencies need this instead. Profound is an AI visibility platform: it tracks how often your brand gets cited across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude, what topics AI associates with you, and how AI bots crawl your site, built on a proprietary dataset of real user prompts. It's heavily funded, with an enterprise customer base and a self-serve tier; check their site for current pricing. Best fit: teams with in-house execution muscle that need measurement, not hands.

Narsil Creative

Us. Yes, we're on our own list. Every best-of list you've read was written by someone with a stake; we're just saying so, and giving you the criteria section below so you can check our work. Narsil Creative is an AI SEO agency: classic SEO craft reforged for Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. The work runs through a named three-phase method, the Reforge Method: Assay (measure what's broken), Reforge (rebuild pages answer-first), Temper (harden authority so citations stick). Pricing is public: $1,500 per month, $4,000 per month, custom enterprise advisory. Clean-hands policy, meaning no fake reviews and no astroturf, and weekly reporting so you never wonder what you paid for. Best fit: local businesses and growth-stage brands that want transparent scope and clean tactics.

How do they compare at a glance?

Every firm above would describe itself differently than a competitor's list describes it. That's normal. Which is exactly why you need evaluation criteria that don't depend on anyone's list, including this one.

How do you evaluate any GEO agency?

Five questions. Ask them of everyone you shortlist, us included.

  1. Do they publish pricing? Not because expensive is bad, but because hidden pricing means the number gets built around your perceived budget on a sales call. A published rate is a constraint the agency accepted in public.

  2. Do they have a named method? A named method means the work is systematized enough to describe, defend, and repeat. "We tailor everything to each client" often translates to "we improvise." Ask what the phases are and what deliverables each one produces.

  3. Can they explain the actual mechanisms? Ask them to explain query fan-out and grounding queries in plain English, and how each changes what they'd do to your site. Anyone selling GEO without mechanism knowledge is reselling blog posts they read.

  4. Are their tactics clean? Ask directly: do you ever create reviews, seed forum threads, or place brand mentions that look organic but aren't? AI systems cross-check sources, platforms purge fake signals, and the reputational downside lands on you, not the agency.

  5. How do they measure? The straight answer includes citation testing across assistants, AI referral tracking in GA4, and Bing's AI Performance data, plus an admission that AI influence is partly unmeasurable. Anyone promising precise attribution of AI-driven revenue is overselling the state of the art.

A firm that answers all five without flinching is worth a real conversation, whatever its size. A firm that dodges two or more is telling you something. There's a longer list of failure modes in the problems with hiring an AI SEO agency, and if budget is the open question, our breakdown of AI SEO costs has real numbers.

What should you do next?

Shortlist two firms from the table whose "best for" line matches your situation. Send both the five questions above, in writing, before any sales call. Compare the answers side by side with each firm's pricing page open. The one that answers plainly, in numbers and named methods instead of adjectives, is the one to get on a call with.

FAQ

What does a GEO agency actually do?
A GEO agency works to get your brand mentioned, cited, and recommended in AI-generated answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews. In practice that means restructuring pages so AI can lift answers from them, strengthening the entity and review signals AI checks before recommending anyone, and measuring citations over time. The craft overlaps heavily with classic SEO.
How much do GEO agencies cost?
Wide range. WebFX's 2026 pricing research puts agency GEO services between roughly $1,500 and $50,000 or more per month depending on scope and company size. Most firms on this list don't publish their rates. Narsil Creative publishes ours: $1,500 and $4,000 per month, with custom advisory above that.
Should I hire a GEO agency or buy an AI visibility platform?
Depends on who does the work. A platform like Profound measures how AI talks about you, but someone still has to rewrite pages, build comparison content, and earn corroborating signals. If you have an in-house team for execution, a platform may be enough. If you don't, measurement without execution is a dashboard describing a problem nobody's fixing.
What makes Narsil Creative different?
Published pricing at $1,500 and $4,000 per month, a named three-phase method called the Reforge Method, a clean-hands policy that rules out fake reviews and astroturfing, and weekly reporting. Most GEO agencies ask you to book a call to learn any of that. We put it on the website so you can compare us before we ever talk.
